The issue is we have no lefties that we want to use right now. Don't think the staff trusts Wansing is ready, and I think we want to save Aschenbeck for tomorrow if possible. No other lefties we feel great about available.

Save him for what? We won game one and were well ahead here. Put Ash in to finish this off and clench the series then coast with others tomorrow win or lose.

I was hoping for at least 3 runs.
Rudis has mostly been nails this season. I did not feel it was at all a bad decision to bring him in unless you expect A-Beck to pitch 4+ innings.
