Braden had 2 hits as well but was caught stealing and was also picked off in a 3-0 win. Brandyn Garcia pitched 2/3 of a scoreless inning in Diamondbacks 7-6 win the Red Sox.

Went to the Cubs v Diamondbacks game today. Brandyn Garcia with a scoreless 8th inning. He struck out whiney little ***** Pete Crow Armstrong and retired Bregman on a fly out.

Saw Elvis on the way into Chase Field.

I'm glad Garcia is doing well

But what was stupid is that ALL of the umpires missed this call. This is 1,000% a balk from first year kid pitch all the way to the big leagues. Umpires are the worst people in baseball.

Balks are subjective so not reviewable. The fit that guy threw lasted until the first pitch of the next inning. Easy guy to root against.

I'm indifferent if you root against PCA, he's young and he plays with passion (like JFF) so opposing fans become polarized by him.....but I'm a bit surprised that you're siding with the umpires that it isn't a balk

I'm not siding with the umpires. It's not a reviewable call and he came off horribly the way he acted about it. Once it wasn't called it was over. Like when Garcia threw strike 3 past him it was over.
