He's been really good and helped stabilize the bullpen. Seems like a good fit for him so I hope he stays here a while.

Just wear an A&M Jersey! When he was playing last season in High-A, he saw me on the sidelines wearing and ran over to say hi and chat. Signed autographs for every kid he could.

Good dude, and wish nothing but the best for him in the Show!

Happy Stephen pitched well but was hoping the Royals' pen (or fielders) would cough up the game after he left. Thanks for posting the DP (Arhlete!), missed it since I was going back and forth between this game and the CWS.

The Athletic came out with their Top 50 trade deadline targets and Minter is on it at #38.


Minter has remained effective when he's on the big-league mound, though that's been far less frequent than he'd like over the last two-plus seasons. He missed the end of 2024 with Atlanta because of hip surgery, then missed 13 months with New York because of lat surgery. The injuries have taken a toll on his velocity, which has dipped about two miles per hour from where it was in 2024. But for a team looking for a late-game lefty, Minter is among the best options.
