I don't think I've seen this before:

Christian Roa started 2026 with the Astros, was sent to the Astros AAA and designated for assignment. Was selected by the Twins and sent to their AAA. Was released and signed by the Orioles and sent to their AAA. Was released and signed by the Cubs and sent to AAA. Was just released and resigned by the Astros and sent back to their AAA.

Brandyn Garcia has really solidified his spot in the Diamondbacks bullpen. He's been getting more high leverage situations and performing well.

Another 1,2,3 inning with 2 Ks including Ohtani. 11 straight scoreless appearances allowing only 2 hits.

He finished 5 scoreless innings, 4Ks, 2BBs, 2H. Longest scoreless relief outing by a Pirate since 1964. Not bad for your debut.

Youngest son was visiting me in Phoenix and we saw Brandyn Garcia pitch twice. He retired all the hitters he faced. He's been in 30 games for the Diamondbacks and been really, really good. 15 consecutive scoreless appearances with only 3 hits allowed.

Paul Sewald the Diamondbacks closer has blown 2 of his last 3 save opportunities. Today Brandyn Garcia got the save against the Pirates. That's his second save. He's pitching well enough to get some more opportunities.
