Looks like someone(s) pissed off Schloss. Per his postgame talk we had our own fans yelling at our guys over the dugout and someone holding up a newspaper while the girls were dancing.

There have been cranky old people sitting behind the 3B dugout for as long as I've watched baseball at Olsen. Good luck with this battle, Schloss.

There's still a group that really dislikes having the dancing girls. They need to just accept that they aren't going away.
No idea about the other but I definitely said something to a few folks around me who couldn't keep from making it personal.

Good for you. I don't necessarily love have them there, more indifferent, but I would never disrespect them like. They're Ags too. They put in a ton of work.

I don't necessarily agree but I still don't think it's the baseball coach's place to encourage changes to another sport.
And we won at the CWS for the first time since 1993. For that matter, we doubled our all-time wins there.

I'm not a big fan of it myself but never in a million years would I purposely demean any of the dancers. If it bothers you so much, that might be the time to stretch your legs or get super interested in your scorebook. Anything more demonstrative than that is simply reflecting poorly not only upon you but all the fans,

Current students own the traditions. Current coaches own the programs. Aggie fans need to be known for fabulous support of current students and current coaches.
Schloss was with the basketball broadcast team and he was being interviewed during timeouts and he was asked about the traditions of A&M and he said, paraphrasing:
"A&M traditions are great, but traditional thinking is a hindrance "
