That last pitch is why the old adage about never taking a 3rd strike is kind of silly. When it's 3 inches off the plate at the bottom of the knees, why would you swing at it?

With the extra Covid year, there are better bats hanging around college. I mean, wouldn't you rather spend another year in CS vs. riding a bus through podunk towns for no pay? Good pitching was still drafted.
