I think a lot of people are just getting tired of watching walks, HBPs and errors. Lots of all of those in a consistent basis much of the year. You make life a LOT harder when you start half of your innings with a walk.
I'm sad because at this point in the year this team is simply not what I hoped they were. We have a large sample size now. The potential is clearly there. There's a lot of talent on the roster, but it's not very balanced. I don't know if that's just some unlucky misses in positional recruiting, or if we hoped guys would be able to smoothly transition to new positions.
