It's not that they aren't focused. He has control of his pitches and is throwing a changeup effectively. That's tough on a collegiate lineup

Because they aren't natural outfielders so they aren't very confident. Playing deep makes it easier to make sure you dont look silly by letting one get to the wall. Unfortunately it mean a lot of balls drop in front. They are basically playing at no doubles depth all the time (except for that one time against Bama when the center fielder was playing shallow and should have actually been in no doubles position)

I think a lot of people are just getting tired of watching walks, HBPs and errors. Lots of all of those in a consistent basis much of the year. You make life a LOT harder when you start half of your innings with a walk.

I'm sad because at this point in the year this team is simply not what I hoped they were. We have a large sample size now. The potential is clearly there. There's a lot of talent on the roster, but it's not very balanced. I don't know if that's just some unlucky misses in positional recruiting, or if we hoped guys would be able to smoothly transition to new positions.

If this team wants to host a regional, it needs to keep winning series. We lost our first 4 sec series. This isn't a must win series, but if we drop this one, miss st gets pretty close to a must win situation.

The bad and good news is that after miss st, we have Florida and Arkansas. Two chances for big wins. But also two chances to drop below .500 in SEC play.

No. That last hit was probably falling at any kind of normal spacing.

Coach Seely positions the outfielders. He knows what he has to work with, and he's pretty good at it
