I think this is one of my favorite things. Some people complain when we don't swing at the first pitch, then complain when we have fast innings and don't make them work...
Kinda like with hating bunting and it turning into "why didn't we bunt?!" when we hit into a double play. Or complaining when we leave a pitcher in too long and then complaining when a reliever gives up runs.
Scouting reports matter. You don't take the same approach with every pitcher. Hit the first fastball you see from this guy. Chances are it's going to be a strike or very hittable around the plate. We've watched a LOT of fastballs down the pipe. And then he's in control got us chasing crap all over the place.
Davidson has all the confidence in the world right now. They should be considered the Goliath's tomorrow.
