EXCELLENT ADDITION TO THE PLAN:

everyone bring a ball (like 3 bucks at academy) that says "Thanks Saw Dog" or something on it...

at the VERY END of the last home game, thousands, nay millions, of balls rain from 201-204 (mostly from 203 to give you credit, but I'm a 201'er myself) that way we overwhelm security with sheer volume...gary wouldn't budge and campus cops couldn't toss us out because we'd be leaving anyways...

GENIUS!

If we did it at the very end, after the last out, of the last game then we're already going out of the stadium, I don't see it being a problem. Sounds like a plan to me.

Better yet, get real Olsen baseballs. They're free--courtesy of the Dixie Chicken. They're always hitting them out of the park during batting practice.

But what would Saw Dawg do with all those balls? Seriously.

aggie987 - Indeed he did. He meant to throw it to the students in the stands, but it went clear over the stadium. He's too strong!

Not too bad, really, it was going to happen because it was an important game and it was too far for most of us to even seriously consider the road trip, so we were all around, watching the game, and it's natural that we'd want to talk about the game, and since we were watching at personal residences, it's only logical that tasty adult beverages would be involved (though tasty is just implied, not guaranteed) which leads to the conclusion that we'd be more chatty than usual. And we played two innings short of two games.
