I don't have pictures, but it was not great. about 200 people showed up. someone from the athletic dept told us that BCG left a couple hours ago, but that he sent his thanks. we did about 5 or 6 yells, the war hymn, and then BTHO arkansas, kentucky, and TCU
dag07 hit the nail on the head....a few hundred ppl tops-it was pretty weak just because of the short notice-i guarantee if we had done it tomorrow woulda been 10x more students there

good job, Strongbadag! It is a little tough when the info is being circulated to a bunch of out of town people. with a little more notice to students, I think you could get a ton of people out there.

To me it was dissappointing out there. There was maybe 75 people that showed up for the Keep Gillespie here. Lasted all of 10minutes, news station showed up and no one there though. Just think if 1000 people showed up, that would have been GREAT!! And Gillespie couldnt leave then.
The media always under reports turnout...unless it is an anti war rally!
Seriously though 200 students having a 10 minute yell practice led by the yell boys. Not bad for 10hrs of planning.
Kudos everybody who helped put it together and especially to Strongbad. Also the current students that came and showed their support!

What is your definition of Aggie Spirit DunnAg (in a few words)? Just curious.
I thought it was great. yeah would of been cool if more would of come out but if people want to go out and show support who cares. dont dis others for showing spirit for their school, team and coach. if you dont agree dont go but for the rest that were out there great job!

Props to strongbad. I think it's great that someone was willing to step up and try. 200 is not a bad showing for such short notice. When I was in school 200 is about how many were at the basketball games.
I don't know what turnout you people were expecting for a semi-viral marketing campaign over 2 days for such an event. I thought the turnout was better than to be expected and the general feeling out there was one of support and hope.

I gotta tell you, from where I'm sitting in NYC, I think what you guys did was great. I don't care how many people showed up, it really was a great demonstration of the Aggie spirit. Who else but Aggies would have gotten off their collective butts to even try this? Razorbacks, Wildcats, whoever, they would have posted and posted that it would be cool, but they never would have done it.
