Not obscure, but I will say one player from our history who doesn't get much pub but was an outstanding individual player was Tony Milton. Very quick. A scoring-first PG with some real toughness.

Tim Timmerman is a heck of a good guy.

Andy Leatherman, Roy Jones, and Steve Sylestine are some favorite blasts from the past

If Winston Crite makes this list, then his team mates Todd "Hollywood" Holloway, who I used to visit with in class or Mike Clifford deserve to be on it.

Won SWC regular season title in 1986 and tourney title in 1987. Todd and Clifford and Crite were responsible for Shelby's last stand.

That whole era was fun - also Jimmie Gilbert & Don Marbury. Daryl McDonald.

Don's little brother Stefon Marbury spent a good while in the NBA.

He was good! What about Bill Walker who:
1. Ate popcorn on the bench during a loss.
2. Pissed into a towel on the bench so he wouldn't have to go to the bathroom.

Bill was a stud... was at that game he tore his ACL.

And maybe one of the earliest guys I saw an online video highlight of that wasn't from ESPN or YouTube, etc... Kevin Turner draining 3's against Tennessee

Remember this game well. We smoked Tennessee and I was certain we had arrived.

I don't know if he qualifies, but Calvin Davis was a pretty dang good player. The only reason he might fit as obscure is because injury ended his career.

"Steve Sylestine from the 1980 NCAA tournament team. Bench player who now coaches at SA Clark I believe"

Steve was a defensive stopper. He started every game he played at A&M.

We played together at Clear Lake. I taught him everything he knows.
