Honestly things started going downhill once the brew recruiting thread was started.

Ochai Agbaji looks like a 2 star shooting guard with some really bad offers right now such as Loyola, UMKC and New Orleans.

Eric Bossi reports that after watching his practice A&M offered him. His stock has risen this year.

Also, looks like Aggies had offered 6'8 four-star Emmitt Williams, but he committed to LSU today.

Agbaji is a 3 star by every service I can find. He has an official visit coming up soon to Oregon St.

Glad to see some recruiting activity, but I didn't realize we were looking for guards. Anything in the works for some bigs?

We could definitely use someone who can hit 51% from three.

Having 3 years to play is a very nice additional item that Mahan brings. His offer list includes Cincinnati, Wichita St., and Memphis and don't count out schools like South Florida and Central Florida as he is going to a school in Florida right now.

He's not the most athletic prospect around, but he gets that 3-pt shot off very quickly with good footwork. He also shoots it as a jump shot. Given his height, quick trigger, and elevation, he'll be able to get his shot on just about any situation.

I like him.

Mahan is from Birmingham and has several good offers all over the country. I am not saying he won't come here, but I don't see any particular 'in' and I wouldn't assume we will even be in his top five.

But, my guess is we will take three more total in the late signing period. If I were to guess, I would say 1 juco, 1 grad transfer or transfer and one high late bloomer/ project type.

I know they work hard on grad transfers. They keep a data base of every potential grad transfer in the country and I am sure they have been working to lay the ground work with at least a couple of guys for a while.

I am just throwing a name out but one guy I love is CJ Massinburg at Buffalo who is originally from Dallas. I think he knows Admon and the Plano West crew. When he played at Reed in December he had about 25 family members there and I was thinking the whole time that I hope this is the next Josh Nebo (as in an under the radar Texas kid who is a late bloomer and then transfers up, closer to home).

He score 20 against us and averages almost 18 per game.

I have no idea if he wants to transfer but I wish he would.
