Picked up the Tony K's 15yr Knob Creek on Sat. Was pretty hungover from a poker game and when I heard they had half a case left at 11 I made the 30min drive and found they had 4 left. 1pp. Wish I could have gotten 2....but....,

Picked up a bottle in the bay area this weekend (went for both S&M2 shows).

Tried it neat first, and while I don't think I can discern between mid to high quality whiskies, I thought it was smooth.
Made an old fashioned with it and it was fantastic.

I have batch 089. After 4 of us sharing, I only came home with half the bottle!

There's this jackass owner of a store in CP that's gotten greedy AF and is charging secondary on anything marginally desirable. Dudes charging $80 and up for bottles of this, Eagle Rare, etc. I just laugh and walk on out the door.

Have not heard of it even being readily available in Kentucky. Look on YouTube, no one has even reviewed it.

Last Friday night I had the pleasure of drinking these four:



with a Cohiba. Needless to say it was a nice night, although a rough next morning. The Blanton's Gold and The Pepper were #1 and #2, with the Colonel and Angel following in that order of ranking. But I would happily drink any of the four again .

The liquor store in Monteagle TN, had ordered six bottles of the Taylor and they delivered six cases. Wish I had not been flying home or else I might have picked up a few more bottles.

That Flak's Liquor EC 11 year store pick is outstanding. Glad I picked up two.

Is it sold out? That's a long ass drive but I may do it.

This confirms everything I thought about Scotch and the people who drink it rather than bourbon.
