Picked up the Tony K's 15yr Knob Creek on Sat. Was pretty hungover from a poker game and when I heard they had half a case left at 11 I made the 30min drive and found they had 4 left. 1pp. Wish I could have gotten 2....but....,

Tried it neat first, and while I don't think I can discern between mid to high quality whiskies, I thought it was smooth.
Made an old fashioned with it and it was fantastic.
I have batch 089. After 4 of us sharing, I only came home with half the bottle!

with a Cohiba. Needless to say it was a nice night, although a rough next morning. The Blanton's Gold and The Pepper were #1 and #2, with the Colonel and Angel following in that order of ranking. But I would happily drink any of the four again .
The liquor store in Monteagle TN, had ordered six bottles of the Taylor and they delivered six cases. Wish I had not been flying home or else I might have picked up a few more bottles.
