I think somebody put it perfectly here. Garrison Bros is like drinking the liquid out of a can of corn.

I don't remember anyone discussing TX Bourbon much. Anyone pick up a bottle when it was released and any opinions on it?
I'll try to help, but first I need to identify the problem.Carl Hungus said:

Did you buy the white label and white wax from the distillery or the blue label from the store?schmellba99 said:
Picked up a Whitmeyer's SB the other day. No,clue on age, but pleasantly surprised. Not the best out there, but definitely a drinker.
Yep. For $400 you should buy the Stagg. Was it last year's release of GTS? I haven't had it yet but the other GTS I've had is some amazing juice. Last year's WLW would be a close second.John Francis Donaghy said:
Raise your budget by $50, and buy the Stagg. Leave the rest.
You're welcome.

The blue label they distribute is juice from Kentucky that's aged in their barrels, and I'm not particicularly a fan.
Their in house juice single barrel, on the other hand, is hands down my favorite Texas bourbon. I know that's not saying much, but I really enjoy it. Can only get it from their distillery off 249.
