I think the Full Proof was ~$50/bottle and an Eagle Rare we're just about to get is costing $30 for a .750

In for 4 minimum if we want to do it.

1. Looks like badasses when we take crotch shots with it to post on secondary.

Here's a little info to start with

I'm in for a share. Whatever that equates to. Prefer something higher proof but in for anything.

Here's a short list of companies who I know of that do a barrel pick

Angel's Envy, Four Roses (5 recipes), Heaven Hill (Elijah Craig), Garrison Bros, High West, Jack Daniels, Jim Beam (Knob Creek), Maker's Mark, Old Forester, Sazerac (Buffalo Trace, 1792, Eagle Rare), Whistlepig, Wild Turkey (Russell's Reserve), Woodford Reserve.

I know there's more but this was a quick list to help

Out of the list above I'd be in for any of the following:

Four Roses
Heaven Hill (Elijah Craig)
Jim Beam (Knob Creek)
Old Forester
Sazerac (Buffalo Trace, 1792)
Wild Turkey (Russell's Reserve)
Woodford Reserve.

I'd also consider plenty of others.

Instead of by bottle, put me down at $500 (minimum because I can find more who would be interested if needed) assuming a price point of $100/bottle or less.

I'm in for 4 cases. I don't think we could get the price as low as stated though. I am still in if 100 a bottle. Like I said. I paid 325 for a bottle.

It sounds like there is enough legitimate interest for us to make this happen and everyone make it out with a few bottles. The question is who has the knowledge/connections to spearhead this thing.

My vote would be for us to select a barrel of something that is pretty difficult to find, like WFP. I also love four roses picks tho. I would prefer to not pick something that we have a legitimate shot at finding anytime such as knob creek or RR. Even though these are good, any one of us could find those with a little effort. Just my two cents...
