Partially economy, partially because craft drinkers are dwindling though too, in number and in consumption/drinker.

Drinking an Oktoberfest and stewing on my daughter hitting a parked car six months ago prompting a lawyer to threaten a law suit because insurance didn't pay out what they wanted.

It kind of sounds like it might be really good or really terrible.

On premise consumption is down overall. People are going on fewer trips or downsizing what they do. Concert, movie, etc. attendance is sporadic now.

Also, it used to be neat to go to a place like GABF and try stuff from everywhere…nowadays y'all can get Maine Beer Co, Weldwerks, Toppling Goliath, and so on and so forth, all in Texas. No longer necessary to travel that much for beer. And local places that have survived have had to step their game up as well, so plenty of quality to go around.

I bought a four pack of Juicy Bits and realized how age has caught up with me. No idea how I used to drink multiple hazies in one sitting. Same with sours. I used to down them, and now one gives me terrible heartburn.
