I really don't know any details about it or if they'd even replace it for you, but I recall the guy I met bringing his in also had another bottle or two that were unopened. So maybe they were just replacing the unopened ones or maybe they'd take an empty bottle at your word. I would like to think so, but just give them a call and see what they say. Just say you had an infected tasting beer and you wanted Karbach to know about it.

Thanks. A buddy has a house in Gunnison, and we ride the trails around Crested Butte for a week during the summer, then head back to the house once we finish to rehydrate with Belgian Gatorade.

Had the Sierra Nevada Tropical IPA, interesting and I like it. Definitely could see tropical/fruited IPA's being the next beer scheme. One of y'all alluded to that in the last few pages I think.

Drank this last night. It was amazing. The wine barrel aging really comes through. Fruity yet not overbearing. The dry wine finish pairs well with the dryness you get from a sour brown ale. This is one I will try to grab several more to age. Really just a fantastic beer.

I bet there are still plenty to be found in stores. This beer is just sitting on the shelf here in CS. I grabbed that one last week.

I am an IPA fanatic and like the tropical variations. The juicy, citrusy IPA's are some of my favorites.
chocolate bbh is some really good ****. I'm generally a big fan of the series, so naturally I had high expectations. but this exceeds them. I expected to like it, but not more than regular or vanilla or even cherries of fire. normally I'm kinda meh over chocolate beers, so I'm pretty surprised that I believe it to be the best of the series so far. I just assumed coffee would be the best to me when it was released due to my obsession with coffee beer, but it's gonna have to be pretty spectacular to top this one.
picked up a figaro today as well. haven't had it in quite some time, I wanna say back when buffalo bayou used the cheap looking black and white labels. it didn't blow me away then but I remember enjoying it enough. i can only assume theyve at least tried to improve it since then as well. curious to see how both it and my palate have changed over that time. anyone tried this batch or even the last one?

Finally got my greasy mitts on some Grapefruit Sculpin at WOB, they also had some Lobster Chocolate beer from Dogfish that sounded terrible.

Had it this past Friday on a fire sale for only $3. It was worth the $3, but not any more than that. Oyster style stout that just wasn't that appetizing. Interesting and different. Maybe if you like smoked styles it would for your tastes more.

I completely whiffed on Dissident in Houston. I can't believe it's still sitting in B/CS.
I think the $17-ish pricetag turns a few away. Probably won't collect as much dust as the $27 Cascade Strawberry.
Picked up some CBBH at Midtown Specs just now. Wife asked me to grab some wine for tonight so I went and checked the beer and they had no BBH. 
Got the wine and ran into a manager and said, "I know you're probably out of it, but I just wanted to check...." He pointed me to the multiple cases sitting open on the ground about 6 feet behind me.
