How much $$ ?

Saw that in the barrels when I was at the brewery over Christmas. Sounded good.

$15 and change after tax. This was the last one on the shelf at tower point heb but I am guessing they have more. Not sure on holleman heb or specs.

Looks like no RU-55 this weekend.

In order of preference:
1. Austin Beerworks
2. Hops & Grain
3. Adelberts
4. (512) - sometimes they do Saturday tastings/tours

4th tap might be worth checking out. Never been, but their taproom looks cool.

I've been enjoying the IPA from Zilker. You can hit them, Hops and Grain, and Blue Owl without breaking a sweat

Finally landed a Big Hugs. It's not the best stout on the market but it's got awesome label art.

How is that 2X4? I have always heard good this but never had the opportunity to try one.

Actually, I agree. Still waiting to try it from the bottle, but that's what I thought of the draft pour I've had. Want to see how it ages, though.

sucks to hear kentucky habit is overly sweet. almost grabbed several tonight but stuck with one. while I like quite a few bba quads, they can get so sweet as a style that they're not my favorite. I generally really like all the karbach fun series so hopefully this one does it for me, but that was my worry. like already mentioned, I might drink mine over the weekend and grab another to age if it's too intense. still have chocolate bbh to look forward to at least.

Hey Houston folk... I'll be in Rosenburg for a wedding Friday and I'm looking to hit up a good beer/food spot Saturday for lunch. Anything worth while out that way...?

Guru Burger in Sugarland Town Square has good burgers and a good local tap list. They should have at least one beer each from Lone Pint and Brash.

Don't know much about that area but do know that there's a saucer in Sugarland as well.

That's an easy choice

I'm tempted but that's not very many bottles to go around. Could see a long line for those beers.

I'm not for sure, it's a 3+ hour drive for me. Good job by JK though opening the cellar to get folks in on what might have been a slow day at the brewery.

Going to try the new Oddwood Taming the Savage Heart tonight. Their saisons got high marks so we will see how this one tastes. They are opening their own brewery soon.

Love saisons. Where are they located?

I believe their new brewery is going in East Austin but they are currently Brewing out of Adelbert's I think. I believe their beer only sees Austin distribution right now.

They've just gotten to Dallas. I saw on Twitter they got Oddwood at Lone Star Beverages yesterday. I didn't make it up there though.

Oddwood is in DFW. Halls posted they got their Taming yesterday.
