Damn that sucks. I aaalllways cradle beer purchases like a baby. Or a box if more than 3.

Or in my hand if it's just one. No brown bag required here in CO. After living in TX so long it feels weird to walk out a liquor store with a bare bottle of booze in your hand.

I was grocery shopping this morning at Bunker Hill HEB and stopped to say hi to the beer guy. He had been holding on to a BCBS Barleywine for me. Cheers to good people in this world!

I've really enjoyed the San Adams Longshot winners this year. The pineapple IPA is decent, and the american stout is pretty tasty.

BSD, that Barleywine kicks ass. Bmac got me a bottle of it that I saved for graduation. Made the day even much better. I've been slumming it lately. Done with school, working retail while getting other things afloat.

I have one Curieux left in my stash. Amazing beer. Just can't bring myself to open it since it's the last one. Allagash used to distribute to Texas years ago and then they stopped. I don't know why.

Stone Escondido is really nice. Just had some August Enjoy By at the tasting room next to the Coaster station downtown. They said it just came out two days ago.

Had a little tasting with a few friends today... This month's tasting was Saisons/Farmhouse Ales. The Dichotomous was a pre-tasting beer...



Tank 7 won the tasting... followed closely by Saison Brett and Sofie. Birra brought up the rear (by a lot).
