Yes I'm an *******, but the bar at whole foods can go **** itself too. Why have a gigantic ass chalkboard if you aren't going to write what's on tap legibly? But thanks for the tip I'll hit it up tomorrow.

Knew I was in trouble when the head piled over the side of the glass. Definitely a brett or bacterial infection. Getting some acetaldehyde type flavor and some phenols in the aroma. I can taste the base beer and the vanilla, which is tasty. I would not sit on any of these.
That sucks. There have been reports of rust on the inside of some bottle caps on the Noirs. If you bought them at Central Market Houston, they tweeted earlier they haven't received any reports of issues with the ones they sold.
Damn, that sucks, NCol. Glad I got lucky with my Vanilla Noir.

Had bottles of BB1 and BB5 tonight at Lucky's in Cy. Aside from the butt rock and bros talking about a Maroon 5 concert, i liked the place. Guess i had low expectations based on the original location, but i will be back for steak night.

I've had two vanilla Noirs. One was great, the other was definitely off. Had a weird funk that didn't really go away until it warmed. Sucks.

Guy at Central Market in Houston said they MIGHT get some more Backyard Rye in today around noon so keep an eye on their twitter if you are interested. I will be watching closely hoping to snag some.

Cracked a vanilla noir... Some "rust" under the bottle cap. Picking up a couple iron notes in the beer. Coffee definitely the better variant unless mine is spoiled.
Just opened (and trying to drink) an infected Vanilla Noir... Brett is pretty overwhelming. Gonna shoot Prairie an email tomorrow and see if they'll do anything for me.
