I have never tried it before (definitely trying it tonight) but I am hoping it comes close to this one (which is not available in Texas)...... Innis & Gunn is one of my all time favorite beers and it is also a "lighter" oak-aged ale

Picked up a couple of noirs, one to drink, one to age. And a racer x for tonight. RRBC might also be joining this party

I'm having a Dupont Avec les bons voeux. I'm not usually a big tripel fan, but this one is awesome.

My last Yule Shoot Your Eye Out and one of the ABW Heavy Machinery Belgian IPAs on deck tonight.

This looks like it could be promising.

I finally made it down to Houston for friend's wedding shower or something and picked up my first round of Karbach. Rodeo Clown, Rochambeau, Weisse Versa, & Hopadillo. That's all I could find at HEB on a Sunday, and I wasn't about to come back north empty handed. Maybe I can swing a work trip back down to spend some time hunting down some FUN series.

Also snagged an Anubis, Uinta Detour, Southern Tier Choklat, and Iniquity. I popped the Detour IIPA last night and was pleasantly surprised. Not my favorite ever, but still a very nice offering. Fancy shmancy bottle too, so us lolpoors can feel rich.

Martin House has good ****. Their Breakfast Beer is top notch.

I was extremely impressed by the porter... Probably the most pleasant surprise in recent memory.

In other news, still stuck in Chicago. Should be flying out tomorrow. Silver lining... Maybe my beer won't freeze while being loaded onto the plane tomorrow.

Had a Double Dry Hopped Hopadillo tonight...very good. Also had a taste of a 2011 Boulevard Imperial Stout...Lots of chocolate but very smooth bourbon flavor and really good overall
