Anyone had the Mango Magnifico? It just does not appeal to me at all.

I had a small glass at a bottle share a few weeks back, and it was very interesting. I'm not generally into spicy beers, but I think I enjoyed this one more than most actually. It had a ton of mango in the nose and some sweetness up front in the flavor, followed by a bigtime burn on the back end. I have a couple bottles in my stock now, so I'll definitely be trying it again sometime.
Has anyone had Laughing Skulls? A friend of mine says it is good but that you cannot get it in Texas. Has anyone been able to find it?

I caved to peer pressure and opened up my Fresh Squeezed. Really good IPA. Great orange smell and taste.
Pretty good, not sure I'm getting a lot of the barrels though.
Never mind there's the barrels just needed to warm up just a bit more
the HEB by me has a crapload of the game of thrones stout. if anyone wants one, lmk. as many as there are, i assume there will be more when i get back in a few days. hopefully i have brain cells left...hopping on a flight to munich in 8 hours. already drunk and will continue that for several days...

That particular bottle is one I traded for with NColorado. I also was lucky enough to find a bottle at my local liqour store here. Pretty damn good and sneakily boozy.
I had No Label's Perpetual Peace last night at World of Beer in Katy..... It's a Scotch Ale aged in Bourbon Barrels...... that is their best beer yet!

Do yourself a favor and head to The Porter beer bar in little five points. Get hammered on the cellar selection beers (and whatever else is on the bad ass menu) and then hit up Vortex around the corner for the double bypass burger (the one with grilled cheese sandwiches as buns).
also, HopCity Craft Beer & Wine has a great selection of beers to bring back.

You could always check out Sweetwater Brewery. I have always enjoyed some Terrapin brews out of Athens. I really like the Hop Karma.

Please tell me you can make it to this while you are out there!! This was the "burger that got away" for me when I was out there. I had everything set up to make it early for the burger and a work dinner messed it up. It's been on most of the "top burgers in America" list and the show I saw of it made me want to eat my TV.

You might try Terrapin's Rye Pale Ale. I had some in FL and thought it was great.

You pay $8 for a taster glass and 4 tokens which get you 4 beer pours. You can pay more than that for a bigger size glass. As far as I know, they aren't selling any beers by the pint, if that's what you're asking.

Ah, negative. Only places with a brewpub license can do that in TX right now - Jester King in Austin (and Hops & Grain soon), Freetail in San Antonio..
Luckily Karbach is readily available all over Houston. I'd visit the brewery as it's a fun time.

I'll be there (barring outrageous ticket prices)... it's gotten to a point where I spend every other Sunday at JK. Not that I'm complaining...
