So I got this via ups from my buddy in San Antonio. It's not bad. Not great either. I expect more sourness from it since it's a Flander's Sour.

That sucks to hear. A while back The Hay Merchant had a merlot barrel-aged Golden Monkey (don't know if it was done at the brewery or if it was something they did in-house) that was outstanding.

On second thought, since it's only a 4oz sample of the the beer, I wouldn't go any way. Too much effort to just try the beer and not have an opportunity to buy any bottles of Cantillon.

Most places usually get a keg or two of other Cantillon offerings. Along with Zwanze, there was Fou Foune and St Lamvinus at Zwanze Day 2012. That was at Crooked Stave. It was one of the best beer days of my life.

I would have skipped any other football game to go to Zwanze day 2013. It is absolutely worth it.

NoCol, they only mentioned getting a 30L keg of Zwanze. No other Cantillon beers.

In 2 days, I should have a bottle of Cantillon in my hands if it survives the flight from Paris back here.

I love the dessert ones I've tried (creme brûlée and pumking) but you gotta know they are very sweet before drinking them. I wasn't all that impressed with the other beers I've had from them.

Prairie Artisan Ales Prairie Hop tonight--delicious! I'm pretty impressed with this brewery. I had their 'Merica a couple of weeks ago and it is also a great saison.
