Wife drug me raspberry picking so figured I'd finish out with this. Are the FW sour beers showing up a lot down in Texas? They seem to be showing up on shelves here relatively regularly now.

I would imagine the weldwerks hef and vienna lager is at any of the larger stores down there.

There should be some Odd 13, Melvin, and La Cumbre around which are all good if you want some hops.

And based on that, I've been trying to figure out what beer to have on Sunday for the game of Thrones premier. I finished last season with a Pliny. I think I'll start this season with a KBS.

finally pulled the trigger on a flight out for the UCLA game. I'm flying out a couple days early and staying a couple days after "working from home" out there. Staying with my Brother-in-law in Marina del Rey. He's a beer guy, so we'll hit as many breweries as possible. Any suggestions?

If I ever make it out there Bottle Logic would be my first stop. But according to google maps it's about an hour and a half away. With LA traffic I'd assume a 24 hour trip.

Monkish, Smog City, and Beachwood are all somewhat close.

It looks like there is a satellite Firestone Walker location right near Marina dey Rey.

I'll be at the game too. Might be prudent to have a small bottle share.

I'll be in Marina Del Rey as well. Only spot I have planned so far is FW which should be within walking/stumbling distance from our hotel.

i'd be down. We can coordinate when it gets closer.

i'll be staying in Pasadena the night of the game. Have a friend who lives walking distance to the Rose Bowl. Other than that, i'll be in the Marina del Rey area.
