I got to go this year for the Tuesday practice round with 4 tickets I won in the lottery, took my wife, mom and brother.

Lightning does not strike twice. To all those who were selected, enjoy, its a great experience!

We stayed at the James Madison Inn in Madison, Georgia, I highly recommending looking into that. Its about 90 minutes from Augusta, but its a very pretty town, about halfway between Augusta and Atlanta. I would stay there again.

I just booked the Motel 6 in Augusta for 2 nights. $80 a night. LOL.

It's almost impossible to guarantee tickets anymore unless they are your tickets.

Second-hand market is VERY expensive and risky.

I would go on Tuesday afternoon and start begging those leaving ...

It doesn't matter at all. Technically you are reducing your own odds if you only request certain days.

Rejected as well. I'm ~ 1/15, got to go to the Wed practice round in 2024. If you have access, the candle wood suites on Ft Gordon is a solid relatively inexpensive option. Just book a back up spot that has fairly liberal cancellation policy just in case you can't get in.

I'll go ahead and say if anyone wants to sell two tickets any day I'll pay the secondary rate. Too many years missing out and want to take my father before he cant walk the course.

Be careful about buying second-hand tickets from anyone. ANGC has gotten very penal when they find out ... and they seem to have ways ...

I would also make sure to return the badge to the original owner, for everyone's protection.
