Said deal still structured in a way where both parties can walk away if goes sideways

And dunne just said the PGA tour remains in control of the tour.

Notice when people ask these guys "what changed" none of them are saying "they arent who we thought they were". They still know these are bad mother****as

I believe there are a lot of details not fleshed out yet. PGA tour believes it is retaining control. They view the PIF as a minor investor for cash flow. Jimmy believes his role is to protect the players and the game.

If you're referring to Jimmy Dunne his firm was in one of the towers and he lost a lot of friends and employees in 9/11. Just a heads up in case you're completely ignorant which I suspect.

No I knew that, I just don't think 22 years later that he starts every single day thinking about 9/11. No doubt thinks on it often. We all do and I certainly didn't have anyone I personally knew there.

I think the corporate structure outlined in the deal makes it much more friendly from an anti-trust perspective. Buyouts and consolidations by holding companies happen all the time. Each of the three entities operating independently (albeit coordinating their efforts) will help.

Not to mention that the PGA and R&A are not involved in this deal.

And yes. The truth hurts. The leader of the PIF had nothing to do with 9/11. We're painting with the broadest of brushes here about others while completely discounting the destruction and devastation our own country and military has done for decades being the world police.

I love being an American and i believe we're the greatest country ever to have been created. I do believe we set out for good around the world but we are not infallible. We're also major hypocrites. We left hundreds or thousands to die in Kabul just 2 years ago as a very easy example.
