SPY - What's next?

If you ask me right now, I'd say it wants to go up. Everything is in place except an impulsive waves [1]-[2] for c of (v). At best you would call the last high a [1] in diagonal form, but even that is not clear. That move was choppy and very overlapping. C waves are 5-wave structures, which would require their first wave to also be a 5 wave structure. I don't see 5 waves off last Monday's low. But my main doubt on up being next comes from the c of (iii) ending diagonal. While it hit the top of my reversal box, it was not a full reversal to $565. The timeline for reversal runs through Feb 14h give or take. While it doesn't HAVE to go lower again, if it does, it will likely do so within the ED reversal timeline. And that reversal would also give it the overlap with wave (i) that is common in diagonals. Until resistance breaks, I'm staying on high alert for potential drop this week through as late as Monday. If we do get that drop, watch for that $565 range for one more buy the dip. That would also kick the topping timeline from mid February to sometime in March or even April. Anything below $565 would start to raise the probability that a top is in. Breaking $537 would cement it and I would be watching for $500.

Regarding Elon, what was the last company he suddenly decided to buy? Why did he want to buy it? What was the significance?

That's right. It was Twitter. He saw free speech being squashed. He also saw an opportunity to expose it.

I personally don't think he wants to buy OpenAI for OpenAI, though there are benefits there. There have been plenty of rumors that OpenAI is a scam.

Basically, on one side, we have OpenAI running a totally unscalable business and burning cash at an incredible speed (OpenAI says it needs 'more capital than we'd imagined' as it lays out for-profit plan). On the other side, we have Microsoft pledging another truckload of resources (don't be fooled, most of them will be Azure credits, not real cash) to scale up the infrastructure to serve an unsustainable business model. How is it possible that pretty much nobody out there understands what's going on here? Isn't it obvious by now how Microsoft is running a biblical revenues fabrication scheme to keep its valuation at beautifully inflated levels (THE SMOKING GUN THAT PROVES HOW OPENAI IS MICROSOFT'S REVENUES LAUNDROMAT)?

Another thing that blows my mind is reading about those saying that OpenAI turning itself from a "no-profit" organization into a "Public Benefit Corporation" (not a joke) would have any impact on its unsustainable business model. Its model becomes more precarious every day due to fierce competitors like xAI, Google, or Meta, who are building equivalent, if not superior, products on much leaner infrastructure that definitely stands higher chances of turning a profit while scaling up (while OpenAI loses more money as more paying users subscribe to its products as per its own admission).

The only ones that stand to gain from OpenAI turning itself into a PBC are those investors, among which Microsoft is by far the biggest, who are desperate to bring OpenAI to IPO and cash out their investment before the whole scheme falls apart once the company inevitably runs out of cash which has clearly nothing to do with "public benefit". This could happen soon, considering that a significant chunk of cash pledged in the last round is ti
That's just one guys take. But he was also all over SMCI long before it crashed down. So who knows.

But Elon has become obsessive about exposing corruption in government. Perhaps he's turning his attention to exposing corruption from his former partner. By the way, whatever happened to the news around the OpenAI whistleblower who Clintoned himself? Funny how that disappeared.

Last paragraph of that article firms up the theory that he is not wanting to buy OpenAl but wants to expose it during the due diligence process.

"Make no mistake, the end of this incredible saga is already written, and the consequences for all those companies and executives that participated in the scheme are going to make the ones faced by the likes of WorldCom, Global Crossing, and Enron look like children's play."

Reminder UPST earnings today. Target remains at $115-$120. Most likely is a good boom today and then consolidation before the last move up. I can't rule out the ENTIRE move happening today. Have to be in it to win it. Support is $60

The multi-billion dollar offer is from a group of investors and they stated they are willing to beat any counteroffer. Maybe he does want to merge it with xAI and along with exposing the fraud.

in on ALB with stop at 71.5 small position and back in on UPST, took small gains. Medium position, stop at 65. Too high on stop?

Who was it that said TSLA $340 before buying back? Can't remember.

But I'm actually now expecting lower, because the last move up failed to get as high as needed.

$335 would need to hold with constructive move off to buy back on. Otherwise, has room down as low as $285, though hard to predict it gets that low.

I am NOT buying a low. I am waiting for a low to hold and something constructive looking off of it. Overlapping chop upward is not constructive.

Use your own risk management. $60 is where sentiment shifts to ambiguous at best for the setup needed to get $115-$120.

OpenAI is a conspiracy that needs to be exposed? This guy wove together a bunch of words to be dramatic lol. OpenAI is very capital intensive, it's the first mover of the AI industry and it has most of the market share. TBD if it can keep its market share or if leaner companies/models can overcome the lead OpenAI has.

You are welcome to go through all of his articles and refute. I have no loyalty to him. He provides lots of insights on things nobody talks about. Right on some. Wrong on some.

I just want an OpenAI bull to tell me that they believe the whistleblower actually committed suicide.

It doesn't matter to me if the author is right or wrong and I'm not spending that amount of time to research and refute. The snippets I did see sound like what businesses do regularly, it's just OpenAI was set up with another purpose. I like reading about these topics though and I'm glad someone looks into it more than what I can/want to do.
