looks to have bounced on the 8 SMA from this morning. If it closes green could be putting in a hammer on the daily and volumn seems to be higher the last few weeks. 30% day for mara yesterday, haven't looked at it in a while, looks like it's been on a tear!
Days like today tend to be non profitable or lower probability of profit days for me personally. Whenever there has been a multiple day run and some consolidation is needed after, it's normally just smarter to do nothing. OPEX Fridays also not the easiest.
My favorite John Carter quote is "don't lose your ass on a Friday". I don't know if he still does this, but he used to not trade on Fridays.

Tom Hougaard points this out in his book, Best Loser Wins:
Friday is notorious for producing lasting trends, especially on Fridays at the beginning or end of the month.
I've found that Friday is a day that can often open near it's low/high and close vice versa. That being said... wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't hold true today. We're possibly due for some consolidation.

Didn't even cross my mind. Of course I'm going to watch tape intermittently. I bought the GTA 1-2-3 combo for Nintendo switch so I may do that while the kids are at school today.

Agree - especially with the gapfill.
Thought the same thing. Once spy cleared that 394.50 area I figured it would fill that gap but it will be interesting to see where it goes from here. I can't imagine what it is like holding calls overnight in spy right now though.
