I haven't, but if you continue to see it happening and can plan around it to make money, I'd do it. XOM has a buyer that shows up at 3:52pmET to buy(range 3:50 to 3:53pmET). I'm certain it is the XOM company and their buyback plan shares getting purchased. I don't know how to capitalize on it. Appears you have a trend identified in BOIL and can work it.Philip J Fry said:

You figure if it's 1:00 here it's 2:00 in NYC. Proximity to the closing bell and subsequent volatility is probably a good explanation for any movement.

Some anecdotal inflation info - just ordered some Thai for dinner for the family at my local and had a good chat with my Thai bud who runs the restaurant. It's in the back of a classic English pub. He wanted to let me know they had to go up on prices a little bit this week due to continued increases in food costs. Cited coriander (cilantro) up 50%+ this year. Interesting times but price pressure is still there for sure for small businesses especially.

I know there's a lot of confidence in it but it sure looks like a rounding top on XOM.
I rode BOIL from $36 to $60 recently and am gearing up to hopefully do it once more.

Anecdotal evidence on my end... Hooters took the prices off their menu. Here at Rivercenter Mall, at least. I guess this is a fancy restaurant now.
About to walk across the highway to watch a winning football team though.
