SNDL has been squeezing last few days and is back to a multi month high. Filling out the handle of daily C&H.
I've been swing trading it successfully for several months, buying in the 30s and selling when it goes back up.Philip J Fry said:
With regards to BOIL, has anyone been tracking what happens around the 19:00 mark for the past few weeks? Seems like a pretty consistent drop here that usually finds its way back up. Is this event tradable?
I haven't, but if you continue to see it happening and can plan around it to make money, I'd do it. XOM has a buyer that shows up at 3:52pmET to buy(range 3:50 to 3:53pmET). I'm certain it is the XOM company and their buyback plan shares getting purchased. I don't know how to capitalize on it. Appears you have a trend identified in BOIL and can work it.Philip J Fry said:

It hasn't been down at $30 since February.Triple_Bagger said:
BOIL is nearing my buy range. I'm starting a position at $36.85. Will cut if it drops to $30.
Could also sell a 12/16 P30 for $200 if you feel like gambling for dinner money.
Exactly. Collect that premium and take the wife outFTAG 2000 said:It hasn't been down at $30 since February.Triple_Bagger said:

Triple_Bagger said:I usually play shares. Option prices are always juiced because of how volatile nat gas is. Great one to sell CCs on if you can get shares for cheap.Charismatic Megafauna said:
Are you gas traders playing boil with options or just shares?
Watched the run up from $35 to $50+ starting when a poster brought it up. Volatile rascal.Triple_Bagger said:

If only that booty could get ROKU back to pushing $500

I doubt God himself could get Roku back to $300, much less $500.

Check the 1 minute chart on volume starting at 3:50pmET and each minute thereafter. Like clockwork..jbeck3487 said:
I know there's a lot of confidence in it but it sure looks like a rounding top on XOM.

sorry for OT:
for those in B/CS, where do you get firewood? I mean good dry, firewood, at least oak, but I'd buy hickory too if I can get it.
We have a firepit, but also have a smoker that I'd use the hickory in.
happy thanksgiving and many thanks in advance!

19:00 is my time, let me have it. And let me freeze in the dark.
Some anecdotal inflation info - just ordered some Thai for dinner for the family at my local and had a good chat with my Thai bud who runs the restaurant. It's in the back of a classic English pub. He wanted to let me know they had to go up on prices a little bit this week due to continued increases in food costs. Cited coriander (cilantro) up 50%+ this year. Interesting times but price pressure is still there for sure for small businesses especially.

Anecdotal evidence on my end... Hooters took the prices off their menu. Here at Rivercenter Mall, at least. I guess this is a fancy restaurant now.
About to walk across the highway to watch a winning football team though.
So I got that going for me, which is nice.
