you lost me at "pharma"!BaylorSpineGuy said:
Anyone looking at a Model T play? Consider CPRX. Catalyst Pharma. Nice company I bought and held stock in last year. Foolishly sold early last year when it was struggling through the 5.80-6.00 range. It pumped all the way to the $17 range but it threw down a convincing shooting star two days ago on the most volume it's traded in over a year. Follow through yesterday on massive volume. It fell hard today but options still cheap. I picked up some Oct 12.5P for 0.69. This should retrace to at least 11.50 if not lower.

Flash to 3900 then rip to 3932... My official prediction.
Macro news is quite poor, positioning is quite short, and interest rates are likely headed significantly higher from here. @jam_croissant details how these factors are shaping his outlook for markets with @OJRenick: 🥐

Appreciate the share. Why I love this board. I know I told my story about my dad being way too big in tech and stuck in ICU.
In one week, he should be in a full rehab facility to get stronger. In one month, he will be home! Incredible watching how far he has come in the last week from not eating and walking to now eating full meals and taking 50 steps at a time!
I have sold 450 of his 1000 shares of Apple (along with the other tech plays) at a $170 average to allow a $75k cash position and diversify his portfolio into retirement dividend plays (5% or higher annual). I feel I got him a good ROI by selling a good chunk now, and the rest can be done with as he pleases
He will not be thrilled about the loss of shares but he pays zero taxes in long term gains due to his other massive tech losses. I'm hopeful he can look at all this and decide to use a broker to help handle his money and continue to diversify his holdings.
Evening update #ES_F: Great follow through on the late day 3925 breakdown now down 35 points in the evening session. 3875, 3860-50 remain targets for this next leg as posted. Bears will want to keep it under 3925 overnight to keep this going all the way to targets tomorrow

Following up…
My dad is in outpatient therapy 3 days a week. He's back living at home and enjoying the good life as best he can. I took off part time temporarily from my job to help the family between my wife and infant. He's at a point where I can go back full time. Hard to believe 11 weeks ago he nearly died in my arms.
Finance related - He was so thankful I took over his investments temporarily. I sold the stuff he was terrified to touch just because he bought in at the wrong time. He's sitting 45% cash at the moment. I bought about 10-12 dividend stocks plus he still has his Apple.
He's up about $60k in the 2 months I had it, so thankful for that.
We will get to sit down more this weekend and discuss where he goes from here.
Thanks again for any advice or just reading and listening. God bless

Flip the Fib. That's an H& S to the downside. Very quick look but lost and rejected Model T (Fib 50)
