True, elevator down normally, besides this current market slow grind down. Nothing wrong being a bear, you just have to be very good at timing it. Also don't forget, the entire market is designed to go up, and 100% of time, over time, it goes up. So be a bear all you want, I love puts, they typically pay quicker, more aggressive, but long term I am always looking to add to holds during corrections, bear markets, etc.BaylorSpineGuy said:

Why would this chart be that meaningful right now given the economy and exogenous factors? (serious question - not trying to be a jackass). Plus, the market certainly didn't follow history in April!

Inflation was "down" to 6%+ (over three times their "target" rate) and so now they can be the kinder, gentler Fed and ease up on interest rate increases. The Fed's shtick is getting old.
I can see why cash is pouring into real estate. Hell, I've got some real estate that would bring some fantastic paper gains right now on sale but who the hell in their right minds wants cash right now in light of what the Fed is doing to devalue it?

Right now that has to be over +3. I think it will pull back. It might continue higher. It might not, but parabolic moves always end. If I personally had shares and saw this I would sell half or more.

What was that stock a few months back that was going parabolic and the ceo kept buying it? You pointed out it was 3+ L.
This model is great. The more surface area the better for flavor profile. I've sliced slices so thin you couldn't even see them with this model.ProgN said:

William O'Neil's book lists a handful of factors that help predict these moves. There are number but look at EPS growth YoY and QoQ, cup with handle formation, low volume at bottom of cup with volume breakout, and a handful of others.
IBD subscription helps identify some of these. But let's not kid ourselves….insiders know when they have something and sharing knowledgeable trading advice is a big part of it.
