Bolded Statement - Yes, the President can ban the U.S. producers from exporting crude oil. That is truth. However, the President can not ban the export of refined petroleum products. I posted about this earlier. Guess what happens, refined products move toward export channels in mass quantities. If FJB bans crude, shift to investing in MRO or VLO or the like.maroonbleeder said:

If sleepy Joe does this, it has to have a negative impact on American O&G stock prices. Peter is predicting the loss of 4-5 million barrels per day from the market because of Russia, and a resulting $170/barrel oil price this summer.
I am banking on $150 crude this summer and my outside range is $170. I think it will take $170 for FJB to ban crude from export.
The loss of 4 to 5 million bpd has been discussed in my circles for some time, but most folk don't look at an S&D. The S&D usually does not show up in the market until it does and people react. Should Russia/Ukraine resolve the war, I'm not so sure Russia will get back former customers. That's another tangent to Peter's statement about "security vs economics". European politicians will go back to Russia for cheap energy if the opportunity presents itself (after the war). European politicians want to be re-elected, right? Cheap energy from whoever would be the concern to keep voters happy.
As for Peter Z,...one of my best friends is sold on Peter, hook, line and sinker. My bud has some close relationship with him and Peter will do presentations for my bud's business. My bud is a premium subscriber to his platform. I listen to what my bud tells me Peter says and he sends links to me. I think Peter is very smart. Obviously, Peter spends a lot of time researching things; however, some narrow topic stuff I am extremely familiar with, Peter made an erroneous comment and I pointed it out to my bud. I'm not perfect and I wasn't looking for a "gotcha" moment, but I know Peter is not perfect either. I listen to Peter and I think he is way more right than wrong on all topics. He's thorough. I don't believed he liked Trump that much, IMO.

The OI is open interest on the call side I am showing. The Put side is minimal. Given the OI in brackets I'm guessing call spread interest. The volume bought on calls was high as well. Vertical Spreads would be buying the lower and selling the higher strikes. Such as 30 by 35, 40 by 45, 60 by 70, etc, etc vs straight calls.Jet Black said:FJ43 said:

Hopefully I'm not just drinking the kool-aid but I think I'm going to have to buy some more ASO on this dip. The earnings growth has slowed, but I think for Academy's niche this is overreaction compared to the challenges DKS faces. These have to do with footprint and price-point for me.
Everytime I go into an Academy I think there is entirely too much inventory and too many SKEWs for the number of people walking around.
I bought more ASO @24.75 this morning. P/E is under 3 at these prices.
Is Tesla at 620 a good time to add more, or would you wait? Assume your holding long.

Maybe it is just store specific but by us in Katy it is zoo pretty much every time we are in there, but good to hear other perspectives as maybe we visit one of the higher performing stores. I just like the idea they are more "down-market" with the clothing (BCG in-house brand) and then a full line of shoes but more value focused IMO. If you go in DKS in Katy right down I-10 your description fits what I see there. That massive store and inventory and just a few folks walking around even on a Saturday afternoon. The footprint is what I really like as well:

I got in TSLA 640C at $19.45. As I type this target of $21.50 was reached. Sold and I'm out. I may be done with TSLA for the day, but will watch SPX to see if it'll drop back down off the top of the channel for me to buy a few puts.

Immediately that happened. I got in SPX3925P and hit target in less than a minute. I was planning on leaving a runner, but sold all accidentally (I thought I bought 7 puts but only bought 6). I may be done at least until this afternoon.
VIX staying below $30 good for bulls.
