This is based on nothing, but it almost feels like this market won't be satisfied until the major indices return to where they were before covid.

I believe it's just a mathematical equation that comes up with that number. I hate that they use 2 negative words to describe it.. "Fear".."Greed". Typical CNN, rich man bad.
Anyways, it doesn't tell us anything that this thread doesn't already know. I like it when the number is heavy fear.. casual investor probably pulls their money and we get to buy it on sale.

SPY 350 is the number.
I hope this accelerates through today and tomorrow and we wake up to premarket red Monday morning. Something around SPX 3600. Then go all in. This is way overdue. No panic situation since March 2020. Heck, there were 2 panics in 2018.
Maybe the Q1 2018 was just scarier for me since it was my real first time paying too much attention to it.
To be positive, these things build character and with each one, I've become more numb. Helps with the mental health aspect of it all and really makes you soul search whether you want to be an aggressive investor, trader, or just indexer.
Enough rambling... put your big kid pants on and quit whining.

It's interesting how similar the price action this year (SPX anyways) is to Q4 2018. That drop was 20% (3850). Maybe 25% around 3600 this time. That was also rate related with the taper tantrum.

Although if we would have only softened a bit there instead of reversing, we probably wouldn't be in the mess we are in today. I think I said that on this board at the time.
If tsla regains 700 and want to try a long, use that as an entry and 700 is your risk level

Be careful. Without SPX green, I don't think TSLA can go on a run today. It will need a green market to push up substantially.
And almost on cue, SPX and QQQ are both green. I'm in TSLA calls.

That same Spy trend line from yesterday just served as resistance. Will need a nice break through otherwise it could be an algo's day.

Why would trading on Tesla tank 30%, over 200 Billion in market cap, because of a 44 billion dollar purchase of Twitter - where Musk isn't even financing 100% on his own? It seems like a severe overreaction if the numbers made sense pre-Twitter. Seems like either overzealous shorting in hopes Twitter falls through, or an extreme overreaction and selloff because of an irrational fear. Either way, it seems like a good deal right now.
I feel like a broken record but $CWH is still showing some great relative strength through the last week since earnings. Not sure if its Marcus accelerating the share buy back program or what but the yield is still over 6.5% and building a support level at $27 it looks like
