Looks to have put in a reversal yesterday after 10 straight down days. Gap to fill back to 154.

I'm not trusting this rally. the market is higher than where it collapsed from 2 days ago. NVDA, TSLA, AAPL are not higher. Bank stocks are not higher
AMZN is barely higher
MSFT and GOOGL are higher
It's fishy
Are we rejecting back from top of hourly $SPY trend channel or about to bust through? @oldarmy1 pic.twitter.com/nCkLUnkLdV

Not sure if you held on to the SPY C still, but that would be a nice gain!JDTxAg98 said:I bought some $425 SPY with 3/4 expiration this morning when pricing was around 412. Up nicely. What is everyone thinking on positioning for tomorrow?
I am torn between nothing and continuing the exuberance by buying calls in all my favorite high beta stocks - AMD, TSLA, NVDA and of course some SPY for good measure. It just feels crazy on a 3.4% move from 410 - 424 in SPY.
I guess we go back to worrying about the Fed...
You know, just to keep the morning interesting without worrying about it tonight.

I'm done for the weekend. Added some 3/4 SPY 420P at 1.65 that I'll carry over the weekend.
Y'all have a good one
I held through first hour this morning and sold. In at $2.90 and out at $10.00 I wasn't trusting a sell off not about to happen so I could have enjoyed another 400 bucks but happy with this profit in crazy market conditions.Max Stonetrail said:Not sure if you held on to the SPY C still, but that would be a nice gain!JDTxAg98 said:I bought some $425 SPY with 3/4 expiration this morning when pricing was around 412. I will post from yesterday. This isn't really an indicator of my stock picking prowess or lack thereof, as you could have bought pretty much anything yesterday at the close and made money today.
3/4 TSLA 850 C - in $10.95 holding currently at $8.20 (missed the window to sell due to real job)
3/4 NVDA 240 C - in $7.15 out $8.65 + $150
3/4 GOOGL 2710 C in $27.30 out $40.70 + $1,340

I have a losing short call vertical (very small loss) that I just want to let expire so I can get the minimum loss.
If I closed it now it would cost me more than what it would just letting is assign.
Will the broker execute both side for me and then debit me for the different?
I don't want to blow up my account on a $100 loss.

Even though the spreads look weird, try entering to close out at the price of your max loss.

In a typical market. Nothing about this market is typical latelyDan Scott said:
As much as I want to play puts now, I can't. After a bottoming wick reversal in the markets, it usually last more than 3 days. Look back to October lows, December lows twice, January lows.
All those bottoms were followed by 2-3 day squeeze.
