Man Bullard F'ed up a nice day.
Fed's Bullard favors 100 BPS interest-rate increases by July 1

It's too aggressive too fast. It's confirming to the bond market that the Fed is and has been way behind in combating inflation. This also brings into question if the BLS numbers are accurate and possibly worse than what they're reporting. The Fed is basically acknowledging that they've ****ed up and the markets don't like uncertainty.Brian Earl Spilner said:
Can someone explain for a dum-dum like me why the market is not liking this? Interest rates were already announced to be increasing soon right?
Is it too soon, too late, too much, too little?
Need an app writer to get us a webpage running in the form of Worldle for stock tickers. LFG. We'll split the profits when we sell to WSJ.

it's insane that the market is STILL near ATH right now in the overall indicesBrian Earl Spilner said:

inflation at literally 40 year highs
which means either a recession, or upcoming massive interest rate hikes.
which means it's harder to buy just about EVERYTHING.
why would companies do well in that environment?
The news was positive but some people bought it in the high 30s a few weeks ago, so expect profit taking, then Bullard taking a huge dump on the market didn't help. Without the news this morning, SAVA would be a lot lower instead of green.bmoochie said:
I really thought SAVA would have a lot more runup after the petition got dropped. What am I missing on that? Do they need to present their data to really draw in buyers?

That AFRM social media manager got paid (a visit) by someone today.
There better not be a paper trail because the SEC and FINRA are going to be all up in their giblets looking for answers.krosch11 said:

Wouldn't higher inflation also mean people are more willing to invest in the market just to keep pace with inflation?LMCane said:it's insane that the market is STILL near ATH right now in the overall indicesBrian Earl Spilner said:

I tried putting a lotto buy order for 55p and missed the opening back up price by $.10. Those shot from $.5 to $3.50 in a moments notice and I see its halted again. wow!AG 2000' said:
