For those of you watching DNN rip..

It's targeting $1.70 range and ultimately $1.90 - $2.00 range after some pinball action following this rip today. Then you can expect a retrace back down to $1.60 or so. All of this is just the beginning. The third or maybe even fourth test of the $2.00 range (November being the 1st, this current action being the second) is when this thing will break through and rip up toward $3.00.

Question for the experts in this board:

When trading long-dated options (say 6 mos + out or even LEAPS), do you typically sell after one big move or hold your shares longer as a surrogate to owning/holding shares?

I raise this question because I recently bought 160C options on DIS with expiry in June. The chart is overall favorable st this time, and I suspect it'll close that gap above over that timeframe especially as there are some good Marvel, Disney, and other films coming out in that timeline, etc.

Thoughts?

SAVA looks like it wants to cross over the 20ema. The 50 ema is where all the action is. Would be a good place for a trailing stop limit.

Roll them up. Take some profits and push the strike price
Of course it was for that. In what universe did you think it was okay to post a naked man spreading open his butt cheeks on our platform?

It is up to you. Depends on how I feel about the stock and the overall market. Can't answer that for people. It is a matter of comfort and risk tolerance. I also don't trade OTM options anymore either

Meant to ask you about this bolded part the other day. How do you determine how far ITM to go? 1 Delta, or are you looking more at Theta (but as you don't usually hold overnight, I'm doubting it's theta)?

if it were me, I'd sell the majority or even all (and if you wanted to stay in it) roll some profit into verticals out a couple months (if you're still bullish on DIS). BUT markets will get some kind of pullback in February if not sooner.

SPY volatility rising and now maybe riding the bottom of the bollinger spread intraday. Could be a good put scalping opportunity. I'm eyeing 1/7 $475 or $474 for a quick play.

Plus the 5EMA crossed all others on the day chart. I hope I am seeing this correctly.

i have a stupid question, but with people like that/buffett/elon etc, is investing a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy? In that if they buy into company X, then disclose it, the masses follow - then they sell out.

Lots of OI and yesterday there was a big 7500 trade that looks to be tied to another on 12/7
I dont have the brains/ability to see if they are tied but seemed pretty significant
Volume today is higher then yesterday if you remove the one 7500 trade which really caught my eye
