Probably a combination of profit taking, reluctance to buy up here until people see it stabilize, and shorts still trying to control their play.

ROKU incredibly weak in a strong market. I fear what happens to it when the market cools off. Would be nice to see confirmation of a blow off bottom one of these weeks.

Sorry, just saw this. Right now I have two TSLA put flies at 800/855/910 for Nov19, one for 890/950/1010, and one Dec17 for 810/850/890. The ones pinned at 850 I would attempt to take profit on any major down move. I'd wait on the 950 pin until (if) it gets below $1,050. For leg strike prices, I look at volume distribution, Max pain, and contract prices at different strikes. On a wild move I try to catch cheap flies or spreads as the option prices wobble a lot while making big moves. I had a bunch of these that haven't filled since I started trying to buy on Monday. The press release today only addresses some of the fraud claims, and IMO, the least relevant fraud claims (claims that data from a scientific journal in 2012 was falsified). They still need the FDA to issue a response to the citizens petition. Even after the FDA response, they will need to continue showing the medicine works in phase 3 clinical trials. They only have 1 test site recruiting for phase 3 so there's a long way to go.
The run up this morning could have just been shorts covering their positions. I'm sure there were a lot of new short positions after the latest fraud accusations were published on that website yesterday. I shorted some on Tuesday and by Wednesday, there weren't any shares available to short.

I also expect a few more of these wild swings along the way so owning shares and selling CCs is great way to generate income. I sold CCs on Tuesday when we had the little spike so I missed out on today's crazy run. I plan to roll my CCs out until they expire worthless.

-Remi announces new funding which he hinted at back in July
-FDA issues response to CP
-FDA grants fast track designation for Simufilam
-SAVA releases final data from full Phase 2 clinical population
-SAVA starts dosing phase 3 clinical participants

SAVA has earnings report on 11/08, which will give them a chance to address the claims, comment on the class action suit if they failed to move forward with it, address these recent positive releases, and comment on the progress and updated schedule for phase 3. Potentially another good pop then. I went net free plus on the spikes today and on Tuesday. I'm left with 10 call contracts and 1,500 shares. I wish it were more but I'm happy that I've made good money on this with potential to make more.

Volume has really fallen since 10:30, I expect it to come back down some tomorrow.

However I think at some point people will realize that streaming will continue to grow.
And if anything, you could argue it's a hedge against the index.
I'd also watch for some green hammers before the close today. I bet it closes back at ~300.
I ended up buying more shares when it dipped under $7.25 and I sold some more 11/19 P7.50s for $0.60. Happy to accumulate more shares under $6. Ok I'm weak. FOMO was too strong. I ended up buying back in. 3% loss of capital on my sell vs rebuy. Let's go ahead and get another run up to $5.50 and I can get rid of the "bad" shares without a loss.
Here's my dumb move of the day...
Sold NVDA shares at $300 and bought ROKU at $295 and WWR at $3.45.
NVDA hasn't slowed down like I thought it would and ROKU is showing weakness. At least I have some hope for WWR. I think ROKU will be good for a long play though and there are two gaps for NVDA back down at $232 and $267.
