Any updated thoughts on LADR? This has done me quite good since the pandemic lows. I know this is supposed to be somewhat insulate from general commercial real estate but... as most everyone is, very nervous about the space and thinking of getting out soon.

Stocks tend to rise in price near the ex dividend date, often by the amount of the dividend, and then they tend to sell off. What you could do is buy the shares with the intent of collecting the dividend, sell an OTM covered call going out 2-3 months (and hence unlikely to be exercised), and then you would use the premium from the covered call to fund puts that expire after the ex dividend date.

Unemployment only counts those seeking jobs. Many more are unemployed and not looking for work.gig em 02 said:gougler08 said:

They just figured out a new way of counting. If unemployment is a meager 5% why did they need to extend the eviction moratorium?
Yeah that's the bigger issue, still getting paid way too much to sit and play xboxDouble_Bagger said:Unemployment only counts those seeking jobs. Many more are unemployed and not looking for work.gig em 02 said:gougler08 said:

I have GS 8/13 390C over 385 alert set. Problem is it will trigger on the open. Will wait to see if any pullback at open into that then buy next week calls.McInnis 03 said:
Careful with Tech, i'm guessing yields are going a bit nutty this morning? NQ is waterfalling. Russell is running up........rotation on a Friday?
I think I once heard it said to watch the banks in a situation like this, XLF may show us what's going on. If that's the case, GS could be a hell of a friday Lotto
This is the exact story and headline that came out on August 3rd on SAVA, but it was re-released this morning at the open. This makes the 3 Friday in a row that someone is pushing negative stories about SAVA. I'd be money it's a huge short seller or hedge fund trying to crush SAVA. They're trying to create fear for retail.Quote:

On July 29, 2021, Cassava issued a press release entitled "Cassava Sciences Announces Positive Cognition Data With Simufilam in Alzheimer's Disease." Although the press release touted supposedly positive cognition data, analysts and industry observers noted that the data had not demonstrated that Simufilam was more effective at improving cognition than Biogen Inc.'s drug Aduhelm.
