Stocks tend to rise in price near the ex dividend date, often by the amount of the dividend, and then they tend to sell off. What you could do is buy the shares with the intent of collecting the dividend, sell an OTM covered call going out 2-3 months (and hence unlikely to be exercised), and then you would use the premium from the covered call to fund puts that expire after the ex dividend date.

Few extras in here.

Tip: look at the charts and focus on the ones you like the most. Set some alerts. Too many choices I've found leads to mistakes and losses with FOMO.

They are doing that so black rock and buy up as much property as they can from land owners that are going to have to default on their rentals. Its times like now that 1. I'm happy all my rentals are in small towns, and 2. those said properties are in a better than 70% equity situation. Ive often thought to do a cash out refi on them to get them back to 20% to use the cash to buy more of trade with, but with this moratorium I think I'll just continue to let them pay themselves off and treat it like an annuity in about 10 years. So far I've only had 2 tenants over the entire Rona time pull the Rona Card on me. As soon as they lifted the last time they were removed.

I have GS 8/13 390C over 385 alert set. Problem is it will trigger on the open. Will wait to see if any pullback at open into that then buy next week calls.

On July 29, 2021, Cassava issued a press release entitled "Cassava Sciences Announces Positive Cognition Data With Simufilam in Alzheimer's Disease." Although the press release touted supposedly positive cognition data, analysts and industry observers noted that the data had not demonstrated that Simufilam was more effective at improving cognition than Biogen Inc.'s drug Aduhelm.
