Exited both EBON and DPW at significant losses several weeks ago. Both were amongst my earliest purchases after discovering this thread early this year. Not bringing that up to deflect any responsibility for the trades. That's always 100% on each of us. Just wanted to give some context for this next statement: psychological benefit of unloading those dogs was off the chart. Really freed my mind towards focusing on better places to generate profits both via trading and MA. I had no reason to continue to just sit and hope DPW and EBON had any strong prospects to regain their higher stock prices. Just my newbie opinion and experience. Worth what you paid for it.

Side note: does reading this thread post-colonoscopy qualify as degenerate behavior? LOL. I noticed yall didn't fix up WWR or ELOX while I was preoccupied earlier.


Agreed and typically have the same mindset. Holding net free shares on a declining stock or path can still be burden to compounding growth

If you had the ability to create an e-commerce company and at the same time have the power to eliminate AMZN, EBAY, BABA, etc, wouldn't you do it?

ETA: That's a risk I'm not comfortable taking when I can make money elsewhere.

Look at how bitcoin has grown and there's not a lot of places you can walk in and pay with it.

I have a hard time seeing bitcoin getting torched. You had Apple, Mastercard, and others start brokering payments with it this spring. Those companies are so in bed with our government, they wouldn't have started down that path if they were going to get told to shut it down.

I agree the world governments will likely make it tougher to use - they don't like competition.

Days like today are lessons for sure. A few 7/16 options are seriously out of the money and with no time to react while in meetings leaves me just hoping for a jump tomorrow. Man, down 16% in a day is an L for sure.

Hoping tomorrow something turns around to try and preserve some capital.

Your reasoning and forecast are sound, your timing is just a little early IMO. I've been zeroing in on August. GS and JPM were a good indicator. They beat earnings and dropped. I believe puts on earnings release are the play over the next 5 weeks. There's more headwinds for the market at these levels than there is catalysts to propel it higher. I'd advise everyone to not be on margin or make arrangements to get off of it. I'm not piling on you brother, just offering my opinion.

I went ahead and took the L on a bunch having lost trend or SRs. Even though Wednesday it will take a lot to move some back to break even.

Don't like looking at a red portfolio panel. Mental games.

Without knowing mechanically how to set up limits in my account, I rely on my ability to be accessible to it. That didn't happen today and cost me. Live and learn and fight back smarter.

At this point, losing the entire value of what is left in those premiums isn't worth much so I'll wait.

Almost my entire trading portfolio is small caps and SQQQ. Let's hope they soon cover and short the overheated Qs.

Lately my portfolio has been perfectly correlated with Houston weather!

Look at how bitcoin has grown and there's not a lot of places you can walk in and pay with it.

I use a notification to set a low limit on investments. Once I get there, I reevaluate but I wasn't able to "physically" not mechanically set those today. .

Yeah I am done with margin... I had Robinhood (I know I know) change margin limits from .6 to .75 on WWR over night and margin call me over night.

I am not sure how often this happens but it slaps you in the face out of nowhere...

From here, I'd think we bottom at 52wk low, 1.34? Maybe Meade will be right. I'm long a ton of ELOX, selling puts on it too.

I read it as adding more every $0.15 down and looking at the timing it was around $1.63-$1.65 so could be
