I put GTC stop losses on everything as soon as I buy it.

Used it for years and found it a powerful tool as a CRM and pipeline management tool. Like anything 'everything' is extra it seems though.

I'm in possession of a copy of said book, and I actually had a similar thought so I reached out to the publisher to see if we could get permission to copy all or part of it for this board for educational purposes, but the original publisher has changed hands a couple times so nobody I talked to could point me in the right direction. If anyone has any contacts or can put me in touch with the right person, I'm happy to do the legwork, but it's not my area of expertise unfortunately.

I also wish we could convince them to re-publish it, even just a kindle edition, which I wouldn't think would take a huge amount of work on their part. No telling how many copies they could sell just from people on this thread.

Of course, I thought by now the market would be in some type of pullback so I sold Sep 17 - $109 Calls for $6.50 against most of my ABBV shares. Still figure I'll maintain ownership of these shares and still see a pullback. We'll see.

I'll be playing some serious hopscotch (holding some seriously long positions) between some stocks to capture some dividends.

Just keep the music playing through Friday this week. If the music stops before Friday,...I'll be one without a chair..

Just like wildcattin' for another 10,000 feet.

Are any of you still using Shapiro's PS60? I knew several of you were but didn't know how those turned out or if you were still actively using it. I'm strongly thinking of using a monthly trial in July or August.

I am hoping $AAPL and $AMZN continues but I am worried about the market top. What do y'all think about stocks breaking through all-time highs?

I get worried but if I would just stay with the winners breaking all-time highs, my account would probably be a lot larger.

If worried set stops or sell calls. I don't think I'd be bailing on the AAPLs and AMZNs of the world yet. Yes we expect a pullback but this crazy bull run could continue for awhile.

I'm eyeing 7/16 $60 puts tomorrow. Willing to ride them this week on the chance it finally runs out of steam. Small position, kind of a 3-5 day lotto.

anyone in BABYF? or know anything about this company? my grandfather seems to have become enamored with them recently. it does seem to be on a bit of an uptrend recently so i wonder if there might be a play here.

It's hard to apply technicals to a thinly traded cheap stock, that being said, it looks extended. It's JMO, don't take that as a rec, it's just an observation because I know exactly dick about this company and won't delve into it tonight because I'm tired.

I use it and love it.

Dan is a great trader and he's got a bead on a spot in the market that is working now.

It's not for everyone but the principles of the system can be used to trade anything.

Worth the monthly trial at the very least IMO. I like Dan and think he's a good trader. You may find that his system is exactly a process that you want to utilize and fit your trading style.

I think Irish uses his system. Maybe he can chime in.

Not Irish, but agree with FJ. I like Dan and his personality works for me. I don't use him regularly, since my regular work keeps me from daytrading most of the time. But when I have the time to commit, I have done well following his approach.

Looking back at history on SPX on weekly/monthly charts we've had quite a parabolic move the past 6 months or so. Bull markets are my favorite....but....
