Interesting that Lyft and Uber, who would are probably the two companies with the biggest downside to someone else figuring out automated driving, are both out of the automated driving game now.

I would think they have more upside, they're not as liable if it's another companies tech they're using? Sure they'll get sued if it crashes but they can cash in on it on the other end I would think

CLOV short interest unchanged from 4/15, so hasn't gotten worse and also means they haven't really covered. Also missing the two multi-billion dollar days in volume.

If someone else figures out automated driving, I just don't see the need for an Uber/Lyft anymore. Surely the company that cracks autonomous driving software first would create their own Uber/Lyft equivalent app.

That said, we're still many years away from SAE Level 5 autonomous driving being reality, so maybe this is just more so Uber/Lyft can actually report profits in the meantime and not throw money into a black hole.

It's kind of a "where's the money in autonomous driving" thing. Is it in replacing human Uber/Lyft drivers, or is it with selling a sensor platform that works with the software to manufacturers?

$tsla is fine. Probably not enough for it to clear $750 but also doesn’t mean it’s a compelling short.

Fair point - I just see those 2 companies being the CRMs of the cab / ride share worlds. Buying up the competition.

Another company will gladly sell them / lease them the tech for autonomous driving for ride shares vs personal ownership. So it's a trade off and payout for both

Edit: i just see the creating tech company not wanting to take the risk of a lawsuit outright so will offset it with a lease to Uber / Lyft

Sorry don't think I responded to this and missed it.

Entry was $1.20 and currently they are $1.60s.

I use a quick combination of things to set my targets on the fly. Is this the correct way don't know just how I establish when I am fishing solo.

Resistance levels
Model T
Delta
Strike Prices at resistance levels.

First I look at resistance levels to see what I call soft & hard walls as well as Model T. I saw resistance at $11.36 which we passed, MT of $11.58 which we passed, again at $11.90 (which we are now at premarket) and should it get through this area, any push/momentum this early to the next levels of $12.46 then $13.18 get close to $2 ITM. After that I see $14.52, $17.98 and the holy grail of $25.81 which is highly unlikely. $14.50s I think is the high side which would be $3+ ITM.

$9 strikes are close to $3 and these are $11 strikes. Delta is about $0.62 and IV is at 127% so should see a bump on an early push.

I will target $3 ($2+ move from entry) but will go net free on any momentum push (hopefully at open) at $2.40 range and let the rest ride to Valhalla.

Let's just hope it has continuation here. Quick chart and things I noticed. Sorry for all the all the lines at levels that make it hard to see. These show up well on intraday charts for me to see rejection or support.
