yes. increasing from 20% to over 40%

basically there would no longer be long term cap gains....all gains taxed at income rates

this is about more than stock portfolios....it would suck for family farms and companies

Sorry should have placed "FAIR share" in quotes. It was meant as both sarcasm and a poke at them that folks will find a way to make money in more efficient ways than paying 40% in capital gains taxes, but hey, I'm glad you make a mill a year, could I have a loan?

I was ticked. Vented to TexAgs, but didn't touch the account outside of letting stops stop. Immediately looked hourly or daily changes. Found little or none, so its about reentry at cheaper prices.

Also, lunch breaks helped!

Read the full proposal - he wants cap gains for everyone to go to their tax bracket rates.

This would hit anyone who invests pretty hard.


Everything I have read states that equalizing the cap gains to tax bracket is only for individuals earning over 1mm

I have tried looking for the full proposal but it doesn't seem to have been released yet. If I'm wrong, please link me to the text of the proposal.

As ****ty as this sell was, my key takeaway is that we held yesterday's low on the QQQ. If it can reclaim 336.20, it can see 337.20 by close IMO

made a few on UVXY 4.5C, but played it very small, small hedge. I'm playing the bounce though, added to SPY, FUBO, NIO. I bet VIX is done for now, at least until mid or late next week.

I've mentioned before that I'm a coach. This crap always happens during our athletic period when I'm in the weight room and on the field with the kids. Come in from it and go to lunch and say cuss words when I open my computer

I nearly sold some of my calls right before athletics started with the idea that I could re-enter after if the trend had held.
