lol yeah - I'm country mile long $PLTR and I like that the big funds are buying in around these prices, definitely marks upside potential but that's pretty aggressive

300 is an extremely aggressive target. I mean, past the moon, Pluto style trajectory..

I believe this could be a triple digit stock in 2022, but 300? I mean that is insane.

Did you figure this out? I am trying to use this sheet to input some data and I can't figure out how to get it to calculate right when you buy back a covered call early.

Example: sell a cc at $1.00, but it back for $0.15... the price cell would say "=1.00-0.15", check bought back, and the CC profit cell would show $85.

If I roll it, I do the same above for the closed call and enter the new call on another row. Sold puts are the same way.

I think that works correctly, but if not let me know.

That's a good idea. I ended up adding a "bought back price" column and modified the formulas. Not sure I've worked out all the kinks yet.

Listen to this man. If you study and believe in the fundamentals long term and have some patience and discipline, you can become incredibly wealthy.

If you need some anecdotal evidence from yours truly, think about this (and I'm by no means bragging, but some of you guys in the panic crowd need to hear it and see the evidence)... Off the top of my head, here is a list of companies I believed in enough to buy with size (maybe a little too early) with max drawdown from first entry to current cost basis multiple up (and none are currently at ATH).. I was in the red on every single one at some point (thanks March 2020), and sometimes quite red.

Pre March 2020 initial entries:

SQ: -49% -> +299%
JD: -44% -> +182%
AMZN: -18% -> +94%
NIO: -85% -> +737%
ROKU: -43% -> +770%

Post March 2020 initial entries:

AMD: -12% -> +56%
CWH: -26% -> +12%
FUBO: -1% -> +40% (did I finally almost get a near perfect entry? probably more just lucky)
WWR: -6% -> +36%
MBIO: -30% -> +3%

Of course I've been pretty darned lucky and of course there are some losers mixed in there as well, but my overall experience has been the less I worry, the better things go and vice versa. Don't try too hard but understand what you're investing in or trading.

Hope this helps at least one of you guys sleep better at night

Have y'all not learned your lesson over the past year or so with the Walrus? I mean the guy or gal just draws squiggly lines to absurd targets and calls it Elliot Waves (which are the most easily manipulated of all the technicals I've come across). Maybe it's just me but they only ever make sense in hindsight.

Can you imagine your spouse asking you what you've invested in and why and your response being "PLTR cause a twitter follow called Walrus says it is going 12x in the next 7 months"....

what i've been doing is putting an X in the buy back column, then just updating the price to reflect the delta i bought it back for (negative number if i bought it back for a loss). then it seems to work.

Ha. A couple years ago I mentioned to mine that I was going to buy SQ and she thought it was a bad idea since 'nobody uses that'. We went to a farmers market shortly after and all the vendors were using it and she wanted to know why I hadn't bought it yet. Reminded once again that I'm always wrong no matter what
