So near the top of the channel we sell a 545/560 credit spread at the top when the stock price goes above 545, netting $8-10. Then buy it back for $3-5 after the stock goes below $525 and sell put spreads for 510/530 and net another $8. Then buy those back again for $4-5 and repeat? At some point you'll lose but you have a max loss of $15 to the bull side.
Since earnings is coming up this week maybe it's a bad week to begin, but is that the general idea?

yes that is the idea. Until it breaks out of the box. You aren't getting $8-10 though. Sell the 545c buy the 560c is about $5.70 now. 2/19 expiry.Bob Knights Liver said:

Neither of these posts make much sense, honestly. Invest in NIO because it's a top company in a growing focus sector and continues to execute operationally and will succeed in the near and long term future. Not sure what politics has to do with it.

Yea, that article has a lot of good and thorough info. Bit of a goalpost look on volume on Jan 25 and Feb 5... not exactly classic but between those 2 big green volume days and Dec 17, $7 appears to be a very strong support base.

The bigger question is wtf do I do with my June $2.5 calls I bought? OA1 took shares and covereds but I guess I just need to exercise the covereds he sold and I bought.
I promise OA1 I'll take really good care of 1/2 of the shares!
