So is SNDL going to be the next CIDM?
Sounds like it will be a state by state issue for full on legalization and commercialization, and will be decriminalized nationwide. In other words, removed from the federal controlled substance list.Jet Black said:Aggie118 said:

What is the thought with SNDL? Pot will be legalized nationwide?
I have not added this and looks to be making a handle at the moment. Has a lot of room to go but may look to see if there is an entry for a small play on it.Mostly Foggy Recollection said:Sounds like it will be a state by state issue for full on legalization and commercialization, and will be decriminalized nationwide. Thanks. May give it a small ride. Will work it like the others with options to lower cost basis or get a nice short term return if I find an entry.jwhitlock3 said:
I've been selling puts on this 45-60 days out with $0.5 strike and its paid well (was getting .20 per contract when it was down). Really glad to see they pulled back their offering as their share dilution has been wild since they IPOed.

I think WWR is *likely* to revert to the $6 area before taking off again. This move could keep going obviously, but 3 ATR moves tend to have some consolidation before going on. In my opinion, you will get an entry opportunity.
IF today was the end of the run. If continuation then have to wait to see the stretch top.Ragoo said:

MVIS update - He was clearly not wanting to divulge any growth numbers ahead of March earnings report. They have added twice as many channel marketers since August of last year. He sees an opportunity to add another 50% in 2021.
Margins have remained consistent and he was taken back by my knowing their current EBITDA. It sounds like they are exceeding their targets, but again, he was evasive. The competitive landscape is neutral, so pricing pressures shouldn't be an issue. He think the economy will continue to be fertile through 2021.
It sounds like they are about to pay off most of their short term notes, although they could be restructuring those into longer term, due to the favorable longer term rates.

Ah, I missed that.
I do find it interesting that a CFO would be surprised that an interested investor would know their EBITDA.
I have an excel sheet where I plug numbers and measure Operational Metrics (CCC, Op margin, ROIC, etc) versus industry peers. It's not hard to build and find.
Well done on that. What did you estimate EBITDA growth to be? Did you get any information on FCF?oldarmy1 said:His CURRENT quarter EBIDTA...Mostly Foggy Recollection said:

That's the play that got some of us (cough cough) going. I got in @.37, then fiddled with it for a few months, had 5000 shares @ avg in $5, then didn't look at it again for years - until November. Along with a few thousand BLDP shares @ $3.jwhitlock3 said:
I was just poking around on the Business and Investing page reading some of the other threads as I rarely venture out of this one. Started reading a thread on PLUG started back in 2013 and about halfway through I realized I was the one who had started the thread (username: aggiez71). Old account that I had forgotten the login to and it was linked to my TAMU address from when I was a student.
I was crazy broke and swing trading my student loan money and proceeds from selling a motorcycle I had back in college, so I was only about to pick up 2700 shares at an average cost of .37. I almost tripled my money and was able to help my then girlfriend (now wife) buy a used tahoe when she was hit and wrecked her car, but if I still had those shares they'd be worth $178k today! Hypothetical of course, I would have sold at some point but what a trip down memory lane reading that.
When I graduated and had an actual job I focused all my excess money towards wedding and then student loans, and once they were paid down I was using dividend growth investing as my primary tool. I have only recently pivoted in the last 6 months or so back to a more active trading approach and the results are killing my past returns. Realized how much I love the social aspect and being able to bounce ideas off people, huge thanks Ags!
