I'm right there with you. I have 7.50 CCs, but I'm starting to sweat those a bit. It would be a nice gain, but I'm holding for much higher.

LAC was an early buy for me (first buys between 6-10), sold at 15, rebought in the 11 range. It was brought to my attention by a TSLA Global Commodity manager.

Very similar to WWR here. I did a little social media scouring on WWR to see what kind of eyes are there, and it is coming on strong recently.

From OA1 earlier: "We know WWR's largest graphite operation doesn't come on line until Q1 '22, so it's been easy to build a position using $5 naked puts when below $4.80 & $7.50 covered calls out 1-2 months when over $5.50.NET:"

I'm going to follow suit and sell $5 naked puts and buy the underlying stock when it's below $4.80. It'll be interesting to see how it opens up on Tuesday.

So I know William Hill is positioned for legalized gambling but any others? I know DKNG but there has to be books that will jump in.
I don't see how it's possible that MGM isn't a major player going forward. They have "BetMGM" online gaming in 9 states already, and I'm not sure what, other than the fantasy sports angle, that DKNG and others have to put them in a better position. I guess they're a pure play, not held down by the underperforming current bricks-and-mortar of MGM, but longer term, post-COVID, who knows?

I only hold BETZ right now, to cover the waterfront, but if I was interested, my next pick would be MGM.

I say William Hill because they were one of the first to do online in nevada and they had kiosks in smaller casinos and those were a completely new thing.

Its very possible that the sports betting market becomes very fragmented and even regionalized over time. DraftKing's advantage is basically a "first movers" advantage -- most of their transactions are online, so easier to operate in new states once given the green light (although they do have a few physical sportsbooks now) and they already have a huge user base from those that play fantasy sports (who are most likely to become regular sports bettors or already bet sports with offshore sites). As a daily fantasy sports player, if sports betting becomes legal in my state, who am I going to use? The site I am already using with money already loaded onto my account or sign up with someone new? For DraftKings users, they just have to switch to a different tab to place a sports bet vs a daily fantasy bet.

That's essentially the thesis for DraftKings over other potential operators in the market. That doesn't mean DraftKings will win out -- but why they get most tied to investing within the space.

Oh, I agree. They probably have the first mover advantage, and seem to have mostly secured the smaller casino outsourcing model. Actually, the BETZ ETF I hold has about 4% of their holdings in WMH. Here are the others:

Good thesis.

Thinking about it, another reason to invest in DKNG, PENN, WMH and the like would be as a potential acquisition play. If you were LVS or WYNN, would you rather build from scratch, or buy one of these? Classic make-or-buy analysis.

As a complete noob to all of this, it would make sense from where I'm sitting to see a casino try to buy one of the online market places, especially after seeing how fickle their market can be depending on what's going on in the world around them.

TexAgs Capital Whales (NYSE:WTF) announced today at a special meeting of its stockholders, that the Company's stock holders voted to approve the adoption of the previously announced merger deal with Draft Kings (DKNG). This deal rates Draft Kings at an enterprise value of about $3.7 billion Aggie Bucks.

TexAgs Capital Whales is a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) created for a sole purpose of raising capital through IPO and acquiring an existing company, thus making that company public. In this case Draft Kings is already a public company, but in the truest sense of the stock ticker...I mean WTF?!

WTF and Draft Kings will combine through a mix of cash financing and stock deal (99% of which is OA1's) which will bring in $1.2 billion of gross proceeds to Draft Kings. Of those $1.2B some $728 million of the transaction proceeds will go straight to Draft Kings and up to $500 million of cash proceeds will go to existing Draft Kings stockholders.

New Ticker adoption will be a precedent setter in that it'll be a 7 digit ticker of "WTFDKNG", otherwise known as the same thing fantasy players have said on many Sunday Evenings after checking their roster production values.

TSCRF- Score media and gaming.... another one of my favorites with online gambling is skyrocketing.. They have a lot of users in Canada and expanding in the U.S. too. Complete legalization of single game gambling is very likely to pass soon in Canada.. Valuation is really cheap compared to the big US-based players.

I'm currently playing this is and GMGI in this space. I think the bigger upside is here though (GMGI little safer win- but already had it's huge run this year)...
1.28 Dec 23rd->2.29 today. Not trading today in US... but is trading in Canada.. up in pre-market... Exciting times for this one.

Interesting article today: https://seekingalpha.com/article/4399434-score-media-scoring-canadian-opportunity

Interesting, thanks for the update. I jumped in for a few shares a month or so ago and it's up nicely, but #SHBM of course.

I'm sharing the net free tracking google sheet that I made and use. It's not perfect and I'm sure I'll continue tweaking things, but it's what I use for now.

If anyone wants a copy, here's a link below. I create a different tab for each stock/ticker. To give an example of how the sheet works I went in and put a bunch of made up buys/sells.
