true but buyer can exercise their option(s) at anytime and doesn't have to wait until right before expiration date.
I get why many (maybe even most) do but they could exercise and sell right away to pocket profit (albeit in this case not large profit)

Less money at risk with same upside for option holder. Only reason to exercise an option early would probably be a dividend (maybe a sale of the company, not sure on that).

Right. ENG would've been substantial profit.

Still down as well, won't even let me log on. They are assuring me that they care about the problem and are working to find a solution. Pretty frustrated with them right now - they get pretty substantial option fees from me as well (not OA level, obviously).

The flow I've seen on TSLA in the 600's leads me to believe that people who are way better at this than I am believe that it's going there before years end. This butterfly would capture that kind of move if it indeed happens.

TOS is much better than the TDA main dashboard and it is free to you. Takes a little to get used to it but once you do you will like it. Does way more than I even know how to do. You still have your TDA dashboard but when you enable Advanced Features a few things are left behind and provides more flexibility through TOS.

What are you specifically referring to when you say "TD"? Do you mean their website?

I believe if you have a TDAmeritrade account you can install TOS computer or mobile apps. The login is the same if you were trying to access your TDA web based account. When the TOS app starts bogging down, I log into TDAmeritrade.com website to trade in my accounts. Hope that answers, if not, just PM me so we don't crowd the forum.

Yep much better. There is just a lot more detail on TOS. Its different but I think you will appreciate the platform.

You can always try TOS free and just use the 'Paper Money' and not live trading to see what it is all about. It is close but not exact.

If you have TD for the Roth, download TOS and log in, I don't believe you have to do anything for that to work straight away.

I don't know the answer, but the amount of money that has been moved to the $600+ calls for the end of December in the last 2 days makes me put my fingers on my chin and think that it's realistic for it to cross 600, and with the $680call flow, there are people thinking 700 is in the cards.

Volume on the high strikes today for TSLA DEC24

2265vol 600C - $34 ea
4143vol 680C - $16 ea
6890vol 700C - $14 ea
(some of these were "Sweeps" in large sums $x,xxx,xxx)

That's a lot of dinero.

TSLA doesn't follow any conventional rules or previous lines of history. It's a 1-off animal that does it's own thing. Tread lightly.

Yep still in for me. Actually bought more 12/15 16c yesterday on the dip. Need a whale to launch it.

For AAPL 12/18 $117.5 calls, would it hurt to sell before the close and see how the macro markets move? Don't want to hold and have a pull back in the morning and can always rebuy them

I am also taking a small position in GLD 12/18 165C.
